Our Story

Hurdle's inception traces back to Sacramento, California, under the leadership of Kody Pickern, a versatile professional in the fields of videography, cinematography, and photography. With a 15-year career as a creator under his belt, he created Hurdle, not only to foster his own growth but also to nurture and elevate fellow creatives in his orbit.

In the initial phase of his career, Kody shouldered the entire creative process, from conceiving ideas to shooting, editing, sound design, color correction, and every intricate detail in between. This immersive experience served as an invaluable learning curve. However, he recognized the need to assemble a stellar team of creatives who could collectively deliver something extraordinary to our clients. Thus, Hurdle was born.

Over time, we've had the privilege of assembling a team of exceptionally gifted and passionate creatives, each eager to explore the boundless possibilities of their craft. Together, we are excited to embark on this creative journey, continually pushing the boundaries of what we can create next for our clients.
